Great for basics

The app offers a pretty bad pronunciation where the voice talent swallows part of the words. Im a German native and I would probably speak this way with my peers but I dont want my kids to learn their first German words from this app. Example: The word "Brezel" is pronounced "Brezl" in this app. Wrong! The word "Erbsen" is pronounced "Erbsn" in this app. Wrong! I could go on and on. Another thing that really bothers me that all the words are missing articles. In order to learn a language like German, ones got to really know them.

Great app for German first words. Clear pictures and voice.

Alright for kids, I guess... But doesnt give the gender of the nouns.

Great user interface. Im actually 15 and Im trying to learn a little German for one of my friends. It helps alot. And the pictures make everything easier to memorize.

Great practice. Nice app. Perfect for teaching any of all ages. My 2 year old has mastered it with me within 2 weeks.

This would be one of the most useful apps I had if I had a way to tell the gender of the words. Even if it were just noted as text or by color it would help. Still, this is a great app.

Great app, I do wish they would separate the colors and shapes though. Otherwise very nice, effective app.

Great graphics/interactive format and a nice base of words to start with, would love to see this expanded. Only criticism is that this program has some "Americanization" of the German language, including such words as "t-shirt". Although it maybe be in common use, it does not do anything for my childs German vocabulary..

Great for just learning the word with picture association but anyone learning German knows that if you dont memorize the article with the word you basically cant make a sentence. Useless in that respect.
